Well if anyone is really interested I've been trying to get several projects off the ground since about '98 writing wise but none ever seem to quite fit.

Now however after running a futuristic campaign for close to twenty years I've decided to base my project off of these and the adventures as well as a couple of spin off projects.

Just an update: Convergent Paths is pretty much complete just requiring minor edits [mostly small things such as spelling and grammar as well as some new armors, weapons, and equipment] and of course art.

So we've gotten my fathers ashes back from the funeral home and have gotten things settled out on social security, pension, insurance, and health insurance; the biggest obstacles. Gotten a large bit of his bedroom cleaned up; the bathroom is ready to just be normally cleaned; still need to move his adjustable bed out and re-arrange it a bit as well as go through a few more things in the closet [packrats should not be allowed to have walk-in closets]; donated over 20 boxes/bags of clothes to good will; found lots of interesting things. Also started going through the gun safe and surprisingly found a Springfield 1903 and a Hakim Air Rifle. So that's what's been going on just in case anyone wanted to know.

So...

As some of you may know my father went into the hospital in December 2022 for quadruple bypass surgery; after that he went into a nursing home for rehabilitation and physical therapy; well that's when it goes over the rails; while there he got COVID 3 or 4 times, RSV, Pneumonia, C-DIF, and some other infection as well as falling and breaking his hip. Well he was having difficulty breathing and vomiting up blood; so they sent him to the hospital and an MRI was done; apparently he had stomach cancer for some time and it had spread to his liver and lungs in. This was not this friday but the friday before and he was still looking pretty decent; fast forward to this last friday; he had tried radiation twice but it was too much for him and he had decided to not go forward with it; this Friday we visited him and he had gone down hill drastically; we also visited with Hospice and got him started on it but Sunday Morning he passed away.

Sometimes I wonder how many people out there would be doing something that they would enjoy more than they are currently doing if they had only had a little bit of encouragement from those around them rather than just a meh or derisive attitude towards their interests.
